Running & Flying GO-7 Diary - Easter 2007
I am planning to take the RV to Germany, so I really need some time on it. So with the good weather forcast as good I decided to take the Thursday before Easter off work and get some flying done!

Thursday 5th April.
I took Thursday off work when I realised the weather would be good. Headed down to Thruxton to put some time on the RV. I headed out over Popham and flew round the Isle of White. Passing over Popham on the way to the IOW I heard Popham were using 03. So on the way back I decided to land and try the RV on grass. It was a nice landing.
Friday 6th April.
Friday Jo decide to come flying - here is the news everybody has been asking me and I have hidden in this page - we headed off to Turweston to meet Mick Allen the painter and discuss the paint work on the RV. From Turweston we went to Bembridge and spent the rest of the day on the beach. I am now really getting the hang of the RV.
Saturday & Sunday 7-8th April.
Pleased with flying the RV yesterday Jo and I decided to fly to Perranporth. It took us five and a half hours to drive there in October last year (the traffic would be worse at Easter!) so Jo was very very pleased with the one hour wheels up to wheels down trip. Same again on the return flight on Sunday.
Monday 9th April.
The weather was not as good on Monday so I stayed local. First a quick trip to see another RV builder Jerry at Wycombe. He came out with his RV6 . I headed off to Blackbushe, then onto Popham and back to Thruxton. I started the weekend with 7 hrs on the RV I now have 12.
