Aligning the HS, Jo came out and helped check the alignment.

I centered the HS and put the rear space in place. Jo then came out and helped with measurements to check alignment.
All clamped in place.
Rear spacer, Vans manual suggested a 3/8 drill, but this piece of tube in the kit is exactly 3/8 - and I didn't have a 3/8 drill to hand!

Aligned and drilled the VS bracket.
First hole drilled, I am going to recheck the alignment before I drill to size and drill the second hole (marked in red).

The extra piece of metal here is just to help the clamp stay in position.
