Continuing work on the empannage. Fitted nutplates to fuse. Re-fitted rudder to check alignment of lower end cap.

Here I have drilled the holes for nutplates, in the rear fuse for the fiberglass VS/fuse cover.
The holes for the finish strip under the HS require tapping to 6-32.


The rudder with the lower finish cover on. The alignment with the fuse is great.
One problem! The tail wheel spring will hit the lower part of the rudder finish.
I had already seen another RV7 where lower part of the rudder finish needed to be modified.
