Made the canopy release/catch. Got a pipe bender so tried it out on the high pressure fuel pump assembly.

Then decided to (start) fitting the canopy to fuse. I thought the canopy hinge would be drilled later - when almost complete. But the plans say to drill now.





I taped the front section of the canopy in place to set the gap. I drilled with a 12" long 1/4" drill (not the one in the picture) from the side - after lifting the front skin.
When drilling the hinge just make a start with the drill, not all the way through.
