Build Diary 19-Febuary-06

A really big day today - Sunday. I spent nearly all day working on the intercom wiring, I have it all connected now - apart from feed to and from radio. The big part of today is - I applied the first power to the RV testing the intercom. Jo came out to talk to me!! We tested the music input. Everytime we talk the music is faded out, there is also a pilot isolate to block the music so the PAX only can hear it. This is a really great intercom. As you can see Jo was having fun with the music - she is looking forward to having music on our trips.

Jo came out to help testout the intercom function.
I had not told Jo about the sound system she will have. As you can see she liked it.....
The intercom will mute when we talk or when a radio transmission is received. There is also a switch to block the music from the pilot position and still allow the PAX to have the music.
This shows the number of wires into the intercom - remember my system is stereo so the wires are bigger/fatter.
