Build Diary 09-March-06

Mark came over to drop Josie off to see Jo. Well I could not miss out on the chance of a handy pair of hands. I soon had Mark to work helping fit the wheel spats, knew they would be difficult by myself. Just over tow hours on the first, them 35mins on the second! Finished at 11.30pm in time for Mark to take Josie home.

First we joined the two halfs of the wheel spat together. The joint was very good and did not require any trimming.
Working on the spat is really a two person job, as it is very slippery.

After measuring the position of the rear spat I marked the position of the leg and cut a hole.
The pilot side took just over 2hrs - this is the PAX side after 35mins. We knew what we were doing.... Hey, it's Mark the new RV builder!

You can see the brackets through the fiberglass. But you can't drill them as the bracket just moves.
All holes are #40 so some adjustment could be made if necessary.
